The Charity

Unique Cause

Cancer treatment on your doorstep.

In February legendary British racing driver Sir Stirling Moss
OBE unveiled the worlds first mobile chemotherapy unit
thanks to £150,000 raised by the charity Hope for Tomorrow.

Hope for Tomorrow, a national cancer charity based in Tetbury, Gloucestershire, was launched in December 2003 by
Christine Mills, in memory of her husband David. The Charity
is dedicated to help make life easier for those suffering with
cancer, and helping their dependents and families cope with
the difficulties they face.

The Mobile Chemotherapy Unit is provided by Hope for
Tomorrow and operated by the Gloucestershire Hospitals
NHS Foundation Trust in the three counties of
Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire. It has
already proven to be a huge success with cancer patients
and the medical staff. It can treat up to 20 patients a day in
an intimate and relaxed environment. Trained staff are at
hand to offer specialist advice and support to patients and
families both young and old.

The mobile unit is invaluable as cancer patients often have
to travel up to 20-30 miles to receive much needed life
saving chemotherapy treatment.

I am sure that we all know someone close to us who has
been affected by cancer and perhaps one day you may need
the use of the chemotherapy mobile unit yourself.

Hope for tomorrow’s vision is to bring cancer treatments
closer to our door step.
